Friday, April 29, 2011: Homework is posted. For Monday- please bring a shirt you don't mind if some paint gets on it.
Thursday, April 28, 2011: I have sent home a letter about volunteering for our trip to Racing Against Drugs. If you are available, please have your child return this form. Tomorrow is the last day for April Scholastic book orders.

Monday, April 18, 2011: I am sending home the confirmation form that states that your child will be in the gifted program for next year. You must sign the copy that is in the envelope and return it to the school. The second copy is for your records.
*Two trip forms ($5 Brickworks and $4 Racing Against Drugs) due ASAP
*Dance-A-Thon form due Wednesday
*IPRC form due Friday
Friday, April 15, 2011: Thanks for all the Dance-A-Thon forms! The students have done a great job raising money. Please bring in those two trip forms if you have not already. Have a great weekend!
Thursday, April 14, 2011: We will be having a math test soon on our multiplication and division unit. Please continue to help with long division, as some students are still struggling. I sent home a homework sheet earlier this week that has an explanation of both the traditional and a new way of approaching long division. I am still waiting for field trip forms and money for our two upcoming trips. Please bring these in as soon as possible. The total for the two trips is $9. The Dance-A-Thon Pledge forms were officially due today, but they are still being accepted up until the day before the dance. Scholastic book orders for April are due at the end of the month.

Wednesday, April 6, 2011: Notes were sent home a few days ago regarding the Dance-a-thon. The proceeds from the Dance-a-thon go into our school budget for technology in our classrooms. Thank you for your support!

Thank you to all the students who acted as tour guides for the incoming grade 3 students to the gifted program at Coronation yesterday! I am still waiting for some IPRC forms to come in. Please send your child to school tomorrow with the form if you have not already done so.
